[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED]GetPepWell, Inc. ("GetPepWell") partners with licensed compounding pharmacies to fulfill and ship your prescription medications directly to your door. This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.
Shipping Overview
All compounded medications ordered through GetPepWell are prepared and shipped by our licensed pharmacy partners. Once your physician issues a prescription and the pharmacy receives the order, the compounding and shipping process begins. You will receive email notifications at each stage of the process, including order confirmation, compounding status, and shipment tracking information.
Processing Time
After your physician submits a prescription, your order will go through the following processing stages:
- Prescription Verification: The pharmacy reviews and verifies the prescription (typically within 1 business day)
- Compounding: Your medication is custom-compounded to your prescription specifications (typically 2 to 5 business days)
- Quality Assurance: The compounded medication undergoes quality checks before shipping
- Shipping: Once quality assurance is complete, your order is packaged and shipped
Total processing time from prescription submission to shipment is typically 3 to 7 business days, depending on the complexity of the compound and pharmacy workload. Processing times may be longer during periods of high demand.
Shipping Methods
The following shipping options are available for medication deliveries:
- Standard Shipping (3 to 5 business days): Available for all orders. Medications are shipped via a national carrier with full tracking capabilities.
- Expedited Shipping (1 to 2 business days): Available for an additional fee. Recommended for temperature-sensitive medications during warmer months to minimize transit time. Additional charges may apply.
Delivery estimates begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order placement. Actual delivery times may vary based on carrier performance, weather conditions, and your geographic location.
Cold Chain Requirements
Many peptide medications are temperature-sensitive and require proper cold chain handling to maintain their efficacy and safety. GetPepWell and our pharmacy partners take the following precautions:
- Insulated Packaging: Temperature-sensitive medications are shipped in insulated containers designed to maintain appropriate temperature ranges during transit
- Ice Packs and Gel Packs: Cold packs are included in shipments to keep medications within the required temperature range
- Expedited Shipping Recommendation: During warmer months (typically May through September), we strongly recommend selecting expedited shipping for temperature-sensitive peptides to minimize exposure to elevated temperatures
- Delivery Instructions: Please ensure someone is available to receive your package promptly upon delivery. If your medication is left unattended in extreme temperatures for an extended period, its potency may be compromised
Upon receiving your medication, refrigerate it promptly according to the storage instructions provided with your prescription.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary based on your subscription plan and shipping method:
- Monthly and Quarterly Subscribers: Standard shipping is included at no additional cost with your subscription. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.
- Starter (Free) Tier: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the shipping method selected and the delivery destination.
Applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout before you confirm your order.
Delivery Area
GetPepWell currently ships medications within the following areas:
- Continental United States: All 48 contiguous states are eligible for standard and expedited shipping
- Alaska and Hawaii: Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii are available but may experience extended transit times (additional 2 to 4 business days) and may incur supplemental shipping charges
- U.S. Territories: Shipping to U.S. territories is not available at this time
- International: GetPepWell does not ship medications outside of the United States
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
- A tracking number for your shipment
- The carrier name and a link to track your package
- Estimated delivery date
- Storage and handling instructions for your medication
You can also view your order status and tracking information at any time by logging into your GetPepWell patient portal.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged, or if you do not receive your shipment within the expected delivery window, please take the following steps:
- Contact our support team at support@getpepwell.com within 48 hours of the delivery date (or expected delivery date for lost shipments)
- Provide your order number, a description of the damage (with photos if possible), and any relevant tracking information
- Do not use any medication that appears to be damaged, opened, or compromised in any way
We will investigate the issue with our pharmacy partner and shipping carrier. Depending on the circumstances, we will arrange for a replacement shipment at no additional cost or issue a refund to your account. Replacement shipments are typically sent via expedited shipping to minimize further delays.
State Restrictions
Certain peptide medications may be subject to state-specific regulations that affect availability and shipping. Before placing an order, please be aware that:
- Some products may not be available for shipment to all states due to regulatory restrictions
- Product availability by state is displayed on each product page and during the checkout process
- If a product becomes restricted in your state after you have placed an order, we will notify you and issue a refund for the affected item
- New York State has specific electronic prescribing requirements that may affect processing times
Signature Requirements
Depending on the medication and shipping method, a signature may be required upon delivery:
- Standard Shipments: Most standard shipments do not require a signature unless the value exceeds a certain threshold or the medication type requires it
- Controlled Substances: Shipments containing controlled substance medications always require a signature from an adult (18 years or older) at the delivery address
- Signature Waiver: If you would like to waive the signature requirement for eligible shipments, you may do so in your account settings. Please note that by waiving the signature requirement, you assume responsibility for the package upon delivery by the carrier
